Make it plug, make it work, make it nice
On the one hand, tools don’t matter. On the other, there is USB-C.
In text, I try to seek the wonder in elegance. So I will say some nice things about USB-C now:
- When it works, it is fast. It charges fast. It transmits data fast.
- You can plug the thing in either way.
- There is one form of plug.
I just bought a new Mac. It has a bunch of USB-C ports on it. In fact, now all of my Macs have a bunch of USB-C ports on them. And I know it’s a faster, easier standard, in the long run. But it has been a bit of a birthing process to switch over.
