Notes on the practice

Upon request, someone asked me how I write. I write a lot, and like most writers I have a really specific and picky routine. Writers tend to work themselves into routines. I am no exception.

The tools

I write almost everything in iA Writer on Mac, or 1Writer on iPad, because iA Writer doesn’t have correct native Dropbox sync on iOS/iPad OS.

I write everything exclusively in Markdown, an open text-based standard that allows for durability & portability among platforms.
