A new book was coming out on a mostly-trustable press from an author that I deeply respect, one who really planned out the firmament of our current situation, and so I did what any good little reader did: I preordered it. That turned out to be a mistake. You know this. You’ve heard whispers. You’ve read reviews. The word caremad comes through: the book is by this person on this topic and yet contains no women, possesses a whole chapter gassing up a known fascist, shouts out a genocidal ethnostate, etc. Even the dedication page is kind of weird & problematic?
