I made a mistake the other day. For years, I’ve used a double-walled borosilicate glass carafe to make coffee in bulk. I wanted to make iced coffee for some pals at my fortnightly Thursday lunch, and I threw some big cubes in there. One fell right in and shattered the bottom.
